Project Description:

An Architect's own residence. Land Space was limited on this narrow waterfront block so the design makes clever use of the available space while somehow maintaining an open uninterrupted feel. The Project was from muddy (below water level) start to the flawless,picture perfect finish reflected in the photos.

I meet and have worked with many builders in the course of my professional career as an architect. Daniel and Layne impressed me from the outset with their diligent assessment of the tender documents and their thorough knowledge of building technology. My initial observations and confidence in their ability to deliver my work despite limited experience in the sophisticated detailing of this project proved to be well founded. The manner in which they went about delivering the project with pride, was efficient, largely accurate, and more importantly, always in a collaborative spirit. The end product is well built and all of those involved can be truly proud of their effort.
